where did it come from?
Utilox began as a personal experiment.
I’m Kassam a freelancer who enjoys building things, exploring ideas, and experimenting with small projects. I’m not a traditional software developer, and Utilox didn’t start as a business plan or a startup pitch. It started out of boredom, curiosity, and a lot of tinkering.
While freelancing and working on different tasks, I repeatedly ran into the same problem: simple digital tasks often took far too much effort. Converting a file, formatting a document, generating a quick invoice, or cleaning up an image should have been easy but most tools were either too complex, limited behind paywalls, or required creating accounts just to do something once.
Instead of constantly searching for tools, I started building small utilities for myself. Simple tools, built to solve one problem at a time. Over time, those tools added up and Utilox was born as a place to keep them all together.
